2010 GRADUATE STUDENT CONFERENCE ON HISTORICAL SOCIOLOGY
BINGHAMTON UNIVERSITY: MARCH 26-28, 2010
Call for papers: The Binghamton University Sociology Graduate Student Union invites graduate students from all disciplines to submit proposals for the third Binghamton university graduate student conference on historical sociology.
Papers that generally deal with historical sociology and cover a wide array of topics are welcomed, including but not limited to: large scale social change, social movements, race, class, gender and sexuality, political economy, surveillance and security, time-space relationships, cities, food, and the environment. There will be a $100 prize for the best undergraduate paper. There is no registration fee and all presenting students will be provided with breakfast, lunch, accommodations, and a party Saturday night.
