Is it an antique or is it junk?
How do museums know the history of their artifacts? How can you tell if your old documents and antiques are important or not? And how do you take care of that “old stuff”? Learn to identify and care for historic artifacts, while also learning a bit about how museum collections are researched and preserved in a seminar offered by the Museum of the Confederacy on Saturday, September 19, 2009 from 1:00 – 2:30 p.m. at Baines Books in Appomattox.
Reservations are required, and fee is $8.00 per person. Call (804) 649-1861 or email “llipscomb @ moc.org” (remove spaces and quotes) for more information and to make your reservations.
